How to write background of the study?

In this article I am going to explain you about how to write the background of the study. This is the first section of your research proposal. In the Background of the study you have to explain briefly about your research area by including research problem, questions, objectives, methodology (especially the types of data) and the content of the research (describe them very briefly). In that section you have to provide an overall idea to your supervisor about your research area.

It should be simple and easy to understand. Never mention “I” when describing your points and views. Use the word “the researcher” instead of “I”. Now I will show you an example. It will also help you to understand the introduction part well.

Example : Background of the study.

After reading this example you can take a clear idea about how you should summon the information briefly with the problem statement, research questions and objectives and the methodology. Never forget to provide a good impression to your readers at the very first step. I believe that you have got a clear idea about how to write the background of the study now.
